With the season nearing its end, I thought I'd better summarise the situations in the various divisions at the moment (Aug 28th):
In Ladies Division 1, Derbyshire TC are the unbeaten Champions. Relegation is between Duffield 1, Duffield 2 and New Watchorn 1.
Ladies division 2 was extremely close, but Rolls-Royce 1 are Champions and Ashbourne 1 are also promoted. David Lloyd 3 and Ripley are relegated.
In Ladies division 3, Woodlands are champions, Duffield 3 are promoted, Darley Dale unluckily miss out despite winning 6 out of 7 matches. Parwich are relegated and will be joined by either Belper Meadows 1 or Duffield 4.
The Ladies division 4 program has been completed. Church Broughton 2 are champions, Woodlands 2 are also promoted.
In Men's Division 1, Duffield have now reclaimed the title after completing an unbeaten season with 7 wins from 7 matches. Rolls-Royce 1 and Ockbrook & Borrowash 1 are relegated.
Men's 2: Woodlands 1 and Rolls-Royce 2 are promoted. New Watchorn 1 and Littleover 1 are relegated.
Men's 3: David Lloyd 2 are champions, either Lakeside or Duffield 3 will also be promoted. Rolls-Royce 3 and New Watchorn 2 are relegated.
Men's 4: Derbyshire TC are champions, Woodlands are also promoted. Relegation is between Ashbourne 2, Ockbrook & B 3 and Melbourne.
The Men's 5 program has been completed. Duffield 4 are champions, Stanton are also promoted. CURC 2 and Watchorn 3 are relegated.
Men's 6: Denstone are champions, Church Broughton 3 are also promoted.
Derbyshire Tennis Centre are champions in Mixed Division 1 with Duffield 1 runners-up and Ockbrook & Borrowash 1 in third. Ockbrook & B 2 and Woodlands 1 are relegated.
Mixed 2: Rolls-Royce 1 are champions, David Lloyd are also promoted.
Mixed 3: David Lloyd 2 are champions, Rolls-Royce 2 are also promoted. Barring points being deducted for rule infringments or match concessions, Rolls-Royce 3 and Little Eaton 1 are relegated.
Mixed 4: David Lloyd 3 are champions, C.U.R.C. are also promoted. Stanton and Rolls-Royce 4 are relegated.
Mixed 5: David Lloyd 4 are champions, Duffield 3 are also promoted.
I'm now in the process of drawing up the fixtures lists for the Winter League. The season will run from September 22nd to April 28th.
